Kantars annual Brand Footprint Study which tracks how often household goods are sold and purchased, has revealed that “local” products are listed in all of the top five most frequently purchased FMCG brands bought in 2014.
Warburtons came out on the top spot with an impressive 85% of the population purchasing a Warburtons product last year.
Heinz came in second with McVities in third place followed by Hovis, Kingsmill, Birds Eye and Walkers.
