Defence Unlimited

Defence Unlimited was founded by Warren Ho in 2008. Based in Sandton in Johannesburg, South Africa, Warren aims to become the leading authority on self defence. Warren is a martial arts professional who has represented South Africa at many European and World Kendo Championships.

Warren was looking at rebranding the company and expanding his client base. The company needed a professional website that would spread his message of empowerment to the people of South Africa.

TR8 Media created a fresh and appealing new look and a functional website that allows the company to engage not only with the general public but also expand in to corporate and educational classes.

We designed and developed a WordPress based website with a membership area to help the company grow the client base and allow members to interact and share photos, stories and encouragement. There is a forum in which members can ask questions or post replies and each member has their own profile. We set up a newsletter system for Defence Unlimited so that the company could send out regular newsletters to members and increase engagement.

The website is additionally Ecommerce enabled so that Defence Unlimited can sell their own branded items online as well as affiliate items.
